Immediate, Permanent, and Unrestricted Access to Published Research
Open Access Commitment
Notulae Scientia Biologicae is a fully open-access journal. All published content is made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges, access fees, registration requirements, or embargo periods.
Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, and otherwise lawfully use the full text of published articles in accordance with the applicable open licence, without requesting prior permission from the journal, publisher, or authors.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0).
This licence permits sharing, copying, redistribution, adaptation, transformation, and reuse of published material in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author or authors and the original publication source, a link to the licence is provided, and any changes are clearly indicated.
The licence does not permit users to imply endorsement by the authors, journal, or publisher, or to apply legal or technological restrictions that would prevent others from exercising the rights granted by the licence.

Copyright and Publishing Rights
Authors retain copyright in their articles and retain their publishing rights. By accepting publication, authors grant Notulae Scientia Biologicae and its publisher, the Society of Land Measurements and Cadastre from Transylvania (SMTCT), a non-exclusive right to edit, publish, distribute, preserve, and make the article available in digital and other formats.
Authors may deposit, share, and reuse the published version of their article, provided that the original publication in the journal is properly acknowledged and the DOI or permanent article link is included.
No Embargo and Permanent Availability
The journal does not apply embargo periods. Published articles are available immediately and remain permanently accessible through the journal platform, persistent identifiers, metadata services, indexing systems, and digital preservation arrangements.
Open Access and Publication Fees
The journal applies an Article Processing Charge of 300 EUR only to manuscripts formally accepted for publication. The APC contributes to editorial production, online hosting, metadata management, digital preservation, and permanent open-access dissemination.
The journal does not charge submission fees, review fees, page charges, or colour-figure charges. Payment does not influence manuscript assessment, peer review, editorial decisions, or acceptance.
